Dr Farzin Torabi

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Farzin Torabi, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), with over a decade of experience in General Practice and Emergency Medicine abroad. For the past 12 years, I've been serving as a General Practitioner in Australia. I'm particularly interested in Chronic Disease Management (COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, and CHF), Skin Care (Biopsy and Skin Lesions Excision), Children’s Health, Aged Care, Cosmetics, and Iron Infusion.

Dr Sajeewani Fernando

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Sajeewani Fernando, a General Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in rural Australia. I graduated from North Colombo Medical College in 1999 in Sri Lanka and have been working as a medical officer since 2000 across various medical fields, including general practice. Since 2011, I've been practicing as a GP in rural areas of Australia. My special interest lies in general medicine.

Dr. Vipin Vyas

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Vipin Vyas, a General Practitioner with over a decade of experience, now working permanently at 11 Barkly Street. A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), I also hold a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine and a Certificate in Dermoscopy. Since 2015, I have been serving the rural community of Gippsland, Victoria. I completed my medical training at Rajasthan University in India and obtained a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Wollongong in 2008. My areas of interest include Cardiology, Diabetes, General Medicine, Ante natal care, Gynaecology, Minor surgical procedures, Skin cancer, Men’s health, Chronic disease management, and Preventative health. Living locally in Warragul, I enjoy rural life, travelling, playing cricket, and music.

Dr Asfiya Asha

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Asfiya Asha, a General Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in healthcare, including more than 6 years in general practice. My background in medicine has allowed me to develop a strong focus on women’s health, paediatrics, and managing chronic health issues. I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all my patients.

Dr Suranjaya Dharmadasa

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Suranjaya, a General Practitioner and qualified GP obstetrician with a focus on men's health, care for young families, children, and older patients with chronic diseases. I also specialize in the surgical treatment of ingrown toenails. My practice includes pre-pregnancy counseling, pregnancy care, and postpartum care. I am a strong advocate for equal rights and have extensive experience in LGBT health. Originally from a Sri Lankan background, I completed my medical degree at Moscow Medical Academy in Russia. After moving to Australia, I further specialized in General Practice and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. I live locally in Warragul and enjoy spending time with my family, especially my young twin boys.

Dr Jenny Eury

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Jenny Eury, a General Practitioner who completed my training at the University of Melbourne. I initially worked in various hospitals and fields before moving to General Practice in 1994. After working in Ashwood, Melbourne, I moved to Gippsland and joined WGMC in 2001 after marrying my dairy farmer husband. My main interests outside of medicine include playing the piano, community involvement, and spending time with my family, especially my two teenage children. My areas of interest are Antenatal care, Women's health, Aged care, Palliative care, Mental health, Pediatrics, and Chronic disease management. Please note that I am currently not accepting new patients.

Dr. Bijene Rajbhandari

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Bijene Rajbhandari, a General Practitioner working permanently at 11 Barkly Street. Since joining the clinic in 2017, I have completed my training in West Gippsland at Neerim South, Trafalgar, and Warragul. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice, with special interests in Chronic Disease Management, Preventative Medicine, and Men's Health. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, trying different foods and beverages, and playing soccer.

Dr Jennifer Morley

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Morley, a General Practitioner who has been a part of the West Gippsland Medical Clinic family for many years. Respected and loved by many, I have developed a strong foundation in providing compassionate care across diverse areas of health. My special interests include women's health, children's health, Indigenous health, and Auslan. Outside the clinic, I enjoy gardening, knitting, and crochet.

Dr Aleksandr Strat

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Alex Strat, a General Practitioner with a strong interest in all aspects of family medicine, particularly in emergency medicine, men's health, skin cancer diagnostics, and minor surgical procedures. With experience in Urology and Men's health, I spent most of my residency at Monash Health, completing rotations in Emergency, General Medicine, Women's Health, Pediatrics, Urology, ICU, and Aged Care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, and listening to music. My areas of interest include Men's health, Skin cancer, Emergency medicine, and Urology.

Dr. Abigail DeSouza

A bit about me: 

I'm Dr. Abigail DeSouza, a General Practitioner with over 10 years of experience, especially in geriatric care. I hold an MB.CH.B from the University of Nairobi and am a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, I completed the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP) through The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

My special interests include geriatrics, child health, chronic disease management, and preventative health.

I can speak

English and Kiswahili.
